| Dakshin Transformer Oil Multiple Gas Extractor (D-TOMGET Model: 1207) |
This gas extractor is based on the latest gas extraction method, designed by CPRI (Central Power Research Institute), Bangalore and developed by DLA (Dakshin Lab Agencies) into a novel patented apparatus.
In this unique apparatus of the industry, sample oil is transferred from sample tube into gas extractor through a closed airtight system and exposed repeatedly to high vacuum for multiple extractions ensuring complete extraction of all dissolved gases with an efficiency of more than 98%.
No other apparatus or method maintains such a high order of accurate repetitive results.
| Dakshin Manual Multiple Gas Extraction System
(D-GASOIL, Model- 309) |
In this patented design, sample oil is transferred from sample tube into gas extractor through a closed system, the same way as in D-TOMGET. The evolved gases are compressed with manual Toepler Pump, and the gas volume is measured at atmospheric pressure using a reference column. The same sample oil is exposed to high vacuum repeatedly, until all the dissolved gases are extracted. The efficiency is mores than 98%.
| Single Extraction Apparatus |
In this simple and obsolete glass apparatus, sample oil is exposed, only once to normal vacuum and hence the results are erroneous due to non-extraction of all dissolved gases. The efficiency is less than 50%, which means that different fault gases are observed as less than half the quantity of their actual presence. Hence, we do not recommend this.
| Dakshin Oil sampling Glass Tubes |
Dakshin Oil sampling Glass Tubes are borosilicate glass tubes of about 150 ml capacity, with Teflon valves on both ends and a side port for septum. Transformer oil can be sampled conveniently into these tubes; the procedure is described in our catalogue. While analyzing, Sample oil from these tubes can be directly transferred through silicon tube to Gas extractor under vacuum using screw thread adapters.
Airtight silicon/Teflon septum helps to draw sample for ‘Moisture Content Test’ as per IS:13567; this is the latest technique wherein sample oil is not exposed to moisture while sampling, storing and testing.
Comparing to ‘sample syringes’ used in Europe, these sampling glass tubes are effective in retaining its dissolved gases, simpler to operate, readily available and cost effective.
Thermo foam boxes are used for convenient transporting and storing of ‘Dakshin Oil Sampling Glass Tubes’ without any breakages.
Oil Sampling SS vessels are used for transporting oil for other tests of Transformer Oil.
High Vacuum Pump of Direct Drive Rotary type (air-cooled) with single phase motor of displacement capacity 250 lit/min. is used for creating 0.015 mbar vacuum within a couple of minutes.
Digital Vacuum Gauge with pressure range 0.999 mbar to 0.001 mbar is used which has the 3 digit LED numeric display with under range and over range indicators.
Magnetic Stirrer of 2 L capacity is used for rapid stirring with sharp edge oval shaped Teflon coated magnetic stirrer bars.
Gas Chromatograph are available with us in different models and budget levels. Contact us for further details.
| Gas tight micro litre syringes |
Gas tight micro litre syringes are used for manual transferring of evolved gases from Gas Extractor to Gas Chromatograph.
| Gassing Tendency Equipment |
Gassing Tendency Equipment is used to determine the gassing tendency of Transformer Oil in cubic millimeter per minute under Hydrogen atmosphere at a temperature of 80 degree Celsius subjected to a radial electrical stress of 10kV voltage, as described in IEC 1985. |
